Blythe Klipple

I’m Blythe Klipple, homeowner on Lama Hisum Road in Mi Wuk Village since 1987 and a full time resident, with my husband Russ, since 2003. I’m a mom, wife, Oma and friend to many.  I’ve been an active volunteer with our Fire Department’s Fire Auxiliary and the homeowners’ alliance (MAHA). began just before the Rim Fire in 2013, keeping residents and homeowners’ up to date daily with what was occurring in our backyard.  I operate the blog from my home or wherever I am at the moment.  Have computer, will blog.  Over the years I’ve found out how important our blog is to those who don’t live at 4600′ full time. They can plan for what the weather will be or what local activities might be available.  If you need to know about something locally, please send me an email:

My other hat is worn as an avid rubber stamper (Stamping With Blythe)  I’ve facilitated classes locally since 2004 and blog almost daily sharing stamping ideas.  Need a special card?  Email me.  You can also find me on FaceBook and You Tube.

Russ and I are combined parents of 4 children one way or another.  They’re scattered all around the west: Kathi + 6 grandchildren (Texas), Kris (Nevada), Andrea/Dennis and family (Austin, Nora, Landen) (Boise, Idaho) and Jason/Khris and Zion (San Jose).   We lost another son, Jeff, four years ago to ALS.
