UPDATE: 3:30 p.m.
This is the tree that caused the Lucky 46 power outage. It’s being worked on as I write.

UPDATE: 2 p.m.
The Lucky 100 have been released from bondage and their power has been restored. The crew has moved on to Lama Hisum and the Lucky 46 power outage.
The random green shape at the upper right of the gray area is us:

Be still my heart……we may have power restored around 8 p.m. this evening.
ORIGINAL POST:

Lucky 46 = green
These small groups of homeowners have been without power since dinner time last night (17th) and with the sunny clear blue skies, it’s colder than you-know-what in our house at least! It was 46 degrees inside at 7:10 a.m.; at 9:41 a.m. its whopping 56 degrees inside thanks to the fireplace.
Per the PG&E outage website, restoration in estimated to be at 3:22 p.m. for the Lucky 100.
Per talking to ‘someone’ at PG&E ‘somewhere’, the Lucky 46 will probably have to wait until Tuesday for power to be restored. There are multiple transformers that need replacing and they are searching for those replacement parts.

In the meantime……..
- Generator is on
- Fire in the fireplace
- Camping stove in position and fired up with some breakfast and coffee
- Sky is a beautiful clear blue – freaking cold
- 18 degrees outside
- 48 degrees inside …..update at 10 a.m. 56.8 Woohoo!?

The link to the PG&E outage map is here. Click ALLOW so the map will go to your location. (I don’t think clicking on the link if you’re in the valley will give you the MiWuk info–send me an email and I’ll send you latest map update if that will help you.) Click on the + (plus) sign in the lower right corner to get the map to expand. Neither the Lucky 100 nor the Lucky 46 are found under a drop pin. Those are for single home incidents usually. Lucky 100 is a yellow block; Lucky 46 is the smaller green block.
Have a great sunshiny day. I’m enjoying the bright view through my window vantage point from my ‘recovery couch’.
