The Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District Auxiliary’s annual Luncheon/Fashion Show, Friday April 29th, was again a sold out success. Thank you everyone for attending and supporting our department.
Five of our firefighters took to the stage and modeled their wild land turnout gear as well as their “everyday” yellow house fire and assist calls, their ‘around the station’ duty uniform and gear worn for protection from bodily fluids. Audience members teased them with and donated dollar bills as they walked the runway. (See photo of Firefighter Garcia on next post.)
Tables were decorated with various themes from gold rush to Christmas to cotton fields to Mt. Lassen to rah-rah Giants and more.
Eureka!
Go Giants!

Great Salads. Delicious cookies. Full house. And again, super support for our Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District. The date for next year will probably be the last Friday in April so put it on your calendar and watch for an announcement. Tickets go fast!!!
PS. Technical talk: I originally created this post as a ‘page’ last Friday which only gets seen via a link to it. So–you never saw it! Here is it now, obviously, as a post for all to see!
