Happy Thanksgiving USA and the Mi Wuk Village area. There’s a lovely blue/pink sky this morning. Is that a sailor’s “warning”?
I jumped up this morning to get my grandmother’s Butterhorn rolls put together. I remember helping her make them in her huge (it seemed that way as a kid) kitchen in Streator Illinois as a child. Now mine are in my kitchen, ‘rising’, awaiting the arrival of my eight year old grandson later today so we can roll them out, cut them, shape them and bake them. For me it’s not a holiday meal without these rolls.
What’s your ‘gotta have it’ yummy for your Thanksgiving table?
I wish you all a gentle day filled with the love of family, friends and community.Leave a comment
