As I sit at my kitchen counter in Boise, Idaho, reading my emails, I’ve come upon two from Russ’s co-chefs for the Annual Spaghetti Dinner. It’s actually making my heart quite sad for two reasons:
We aren’t there to be putting it all together right now and
Covid-19 wouldn’t let it happen anyway.
Those were the days and being a part of the Spaghetti Dinner, although it made for a l-o-n-g day (and week), was fun and was such a COMMUNITY EFFORT. Thank you again to all the Fire Auxiliary Members and fire fighters and our wonderful community of diners.
If you have a great memories of the event please leave them in a comment section so we can all have a smile and a small walk down memory lane.
2015 Thank You card to all who helped make the event a success

Beautiful Cover’s “seconds” heirloom tomatoes. They were a welcome and delicious annual donation.
Thank you all for allowing us to oversee the wonderful Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fund Annual Spaghetti Dinner for 10 great years and 12 events.

My husband Russ and I have been full time Mi Wuk residents since 2003 and part time residents since 1987.
Reality says that it's time to move on though and we'll be moving to Boise, Idaho at the end of 2019.
I've been on the MAHA board for 'a long time' and am happy to be there so I can know what's going on in our community.
I've also been on the MWSP Fire Protection District Fire Board since 2016 (or was it 2015?). You can always reach me at blythek@mac.com .
