On Saturday, July 30, 2016, the Tuolumne County Tree Mortality Task Force will hold a meeting for the residents and property owners in Mi Wuk Village. The meeting will focus on the work being done, and to be done in Mi Wuk Village to remove trees killed by the Bark Beetle infestation. Information will be shared and questions answered regarding the project in general and the Right-Of-Entry forms in particular. The meeting will be: Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 9:00 AM, at the Word Of Life Fellowship on Highway 108 in Mi Wuk Village.

PURPOSE: Provide an update to residents of Mi Wuk/Sugar Pine area, as PG&E has already begun removing trees in this area. Residents will be able to hear details about the project and sign up for PG&E’s debris removal program.
This workshop is open to the public, but presenters will only be addressing the Mi Wuk/Sugar Pine area project and only residents of Mi Wuk/ Sugar Pine area will be able to sign up for PG&E’s debris removal program (at this time).
From Blythe, editor: I wonder if this meeting is a result of the discussions at this morning’s Board of Supervisors meeting? No, I wasn’t there but I understand that Mark Thornton was going to speak very strongly about concerns with the existing programs and forms. The ‘powers that be’ do hear our voices.
