MI-WOK RANGER STATION TREES FELLED

As I was collecting my mail today I noticed a swarm of workers and equipment and lots of noise in the Mi Wok Ranger Station parking lot.  Lots and lots of tree were taken down.  Most of them will be able to be salvaged for their wood.

I don’t know anything about the trees marked with a bright green “R” at the library, those on the Mi Wuk Mutual Water Company property or those throughout Mi Wuk.  I just know there are millions of trees in the state, more than thousands in our community, that need to be removed.

No news from me for the next 3 weeks.  Check the December calendar for upcoming holiday events.  I’ll be back in time to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving.
