As a member of the Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District Auxiliary, I’d like to thank so many community members for supporting Friday and Saturday’s Annual Rummage Sale.
- donations from auxiliary members and the community
- purchases made by locals, vacationers, weekenders and more
- auxiliary members who came out to help set up, hold the fort during the sale and then clean up afterwards, restoring the great room to a fire department meeting room
- members who brought cookies to share with anyone who wished to indulge
There aren’t many expenses for the rummage sale. It’s mostly a profitable event and for that the department shouts out an enthusiastic THANK YOU! A rough total of proceeds late yesterday afternoon was $4200 and change. Firm figure will be announced at June’s Fire Board meeting.
THANK YOU ALL AGAIN.
And by the way……isn’t is nice that it wasn’t snowing yesterday like it is this morning??? This is crazy. 34 degrees. 4500 ft elevation. Hello Channel 3……..We’re not at 6500′ where you said the snow would start falling! Anyway, quite heavy snow is falling at the moment and has been for the last 45 minutes. I understand that I slept through the thunder, lightening and huge downpour last night. I guess hubby and I were both really exhausted.
Have a great day y’all……….
